Crocs Sandal Flats
I can't believe I'm about to post about Crocs. Last week I sent an email to one of my best friend endorsing a pair of Danskos, too*! I'm telling you, the old standbys for comfort are getting more and more stylish.I recently went on a shoe hunt to DSW to replace a pair that my (not such a puppy anymore; he's one) dog Jaxon chewed up. He hadn't chewed shoes in a long time, but I had never brought these home. They lived under my desk at work until one day I wore them home from a conference. Bye-bye, shoes!
I did not find the perfect pair of desk shoes, but I did find these!
I hemmed and hawed over getting them because, well, they're Crocs. I have the old school, standard Crocs, and I wear them often in the summer when we take the dogs into muddy and wet places. However, those Crocs have never felt very comfortable, they squeak and pinch, and they're not very attractive. But these Hurache flats are lightweight, don't squeak, and don't hit the wide/toe part of my feet. I'm really excited about them for a casual pair of shoes this summer! Oh-and so is Mara. She wants hers to wear in the waterfalls of Colombia. Show off.
*Here is the actual Dansko email to my friend who was addicted to her clogs:

I found a cute Dankso to recommend to you:
Red frigging letter day.
Lol, I saw those Crocs and thought " no way!" They are colorful and actually kind of cute. Hm, I may have to rethink my Croc ideas?
