Our You Sparkle Holiday Shoot
Recently I had the most fun day hosting a photo shoot at my house. Love Always Hannah did all of the party styling, and the incredible Lauren Modny shot the film. We were also lucky enough to get to put the models in holiday jewelry from Lou Lou Boutiques! The theme for this shoot was all about the parts of the holidays that make this time of year special-from time with friends to baking cookies, to the obligatory holiday part photo booth, we captured it all.
Here's Hannah's take on what she accurately called "more fun than should be allowed."
In keeping with my business model, I really wanted to dress the models in their own clothes. I love the idea that you can wear something that you already own for the holidays-just add a gorgeous piece of conversation-starting jewelry or swap your usual chapstick for some red lips. To me, you sparkle most when you're comfortable in your own skin. I think you'll agree that these three women look absolutely beautiful.
In the coming weeks, I'll be talking about each outfit and sharing more pictures. I'll also help you "shop" some of these looks in ways that are more accessible. For example, how to wear Sharlett's amazing leather leggings at any age or in a more casual setting. Today, I just wanted to share some of these beautiful images with you in the hope that you will be inspired to go shop your own closet and seek out ways to truly sparkle this holiday season. Be sure to check out Hannah's blog for more tips on styling yourself-and your space!
And because I wish you were all here to join in the fun, here are some behind-the-scenes shots!
I won't speak for Hannah, but my experience with her is that she spreads sparkle everywhere she goes. I joked that she has the "Midas touch" because everything she touches she makes more beautiful than it was when she found it. My house has never looked so beautiful or felt so festive! I want Hannah to style every party I ever host. Sound good, Hannah?
