Time for One Client in NYC, January 17

I'm going to be in NYC for the weekend of MLK. I will have some free time on Saturday, January 17. If you would like an in-person styling session or to go shopping with me, I'd love to meet up with you for 3 hours. My usual hourly rate of $25/hour will apply, but no travel charges. First to email me gets the slot! I can't wait!

Hi! Welcome to StartCloseIn where (extra)ordinary women play dress up, re-discover clothes they haven't worn, and, most importantly, feel more comfortable in their own bodies. I'm thrilled that you're here.

I'm Ella, lover of stripes, soft layers, and laughing until my cheeks hurt. I'm also a Northern Virginia-based personal stylist. I'm also the one you want to bring shopping with you. I worked for 10+ years in high-end retail, but my specialty is finding deals on clothes that you actually want to wear.

My approach to personal styling for (extra)ordinary women comes without the pressure to look a certain way or spend a fortune. Instead, I think of “styling” as a way of helping women show our best selves off to the world. Here on my blog I'll show off recent personal styling clients and share with you ideas for how to dress your best-as though you were my client!

So come on! Let's dig through closets and find new and interesting ways to wear clothes together. Whether they're your clothes re-imagined and re-styled or new clothes that you can't wait to wear, you'll end up looking like the best version of yourself.
